Valerie Da-Silva Curtiss was born in England during WWII, emigrated to the United States in 1961, and throughout the years developed her many talents in photography, art, and writing. She was a Medical Transcriptionist and Quality Control Editor for 35 years. She also for a few years was the garden columnist for The Whole Shebang, in Coos Bay, Oregon. She has published a book about the trials and tribulations of a crazy life with seven Boston Terriers and a Lab-Chow whilst living in a cottage on the Oregon Coast.
